About Amber Forecast
Ravvejr began as a way for founder Danni Veng to identify when his family had the best chance of finding amber along the Danish coast. Launched in Denmark in 2024, it has since developed into Amber Forecast.
Amber Forecast analyses wind, waves and currents and how conditions develop over several days. It helps people plan when to search the coast, but it does not guarantee an amber find. The service includes a free version.
