Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay separately for web, iPhone and Android?

No. Full access is linked to your Amber Forecast account, not to one device. Sign in with the same account on web, iPhone or Android to use it there.

What’s included for free?

Everyone can browse every location and see today’s amber forecast and weather and sea conditions, without an account. In the app, you can also save favourite locations. Full access adds 7-day forecasts and amber alerts.

What’s the difference between an annual subscription and Tourist Pass?

Both include the same full access: 7-day forecasts and amber alerts. An annual subscription gives you a full year and renews automatically each year until you cancel. Tourist Pass gives you 7 days for a one-time payment and doesn’t renew.

What happens when my Tourist Pass expires?

If you have no other active access, you return to free access and can still see today’s amber forecast and conditions at every location. Your 7-day forecasts and amber alerts pause until you buy a new pass or an annual subscription. Your alert settings are kept, and you’re never charged automatically. If you buy a new pass before the current one ends, the new 7 days are added after it.

Can I cancel my annual subscription?

Yes, at any time. Cancel where you subscribed: for web purchases, use Manage subscription in your Account; for App Store or Google Play purchases, use your subscription settings there. You keep full access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
